The Liverpool-born former Chorley and Northenden professional  is hoping to complete a hat-trick of  ISPS Handa PGA Seniors’ Championship crowns at Stoke by Nayland this week.

He will have the MiPins logo on his clothing and bag throughout the season and as golf ambassador will also be involved in the firm’s  corporate golf division, providing his years of experience to companies wishing to include golf activities in their employee health and wellbeing programmes.

MiPins founder Anthony Franklin was a junior member at Chorley when Wesselingh  club pro in the early 1990s.

Wesselingh said: “It’s a pleasure to be associated with MiPins, endorsing a product that encourages participation in golf, and supports golf professionals in developing their businesses was an easy decision to make.”

Franklin added: “I have known Paul nearly all of my golfing life and it is clearly an honour to be confirming this agreement. We both share common interests in increasing participation in golf, and we hope that this partnership continues long in to the future.”
