Golfers boost Parkinson’s UK

A charity received a shot in the arm following a competition at Chorley Golf Club.

???????????????Around £2,500 was raised at the Parkinson’s UK Chorley and South Ribble branch’s second annual golf day which attracted 169 players.

Three categories comprised men’s pairs, ladies pairs and mixed pairs for the stableford better ball format and there were additional on course challenges and a complimentary half-way house.

The event was “teed off” by Chorley Mayor Coun Roy Lees.
