Parry is leading man at Birchwood

HART Common’s Steve Parry was top pro in the Manchester Alliance fixture at Birchwood, his 39 points leaving him two ahead of Stockport assistant Danny Wardrop.



It was close in the pro am section with Chorley-attached Andy Palmer and his Horwich partner Kevin Ashton claimed the pro-am honours after a 41 points countback from Parry and Northenden’s  Malcom Wells.

But the day’s best score was an impressive 45 points amassed by Chorley’s David Hemingway and Altrincham playing partner Lee Warren.

Heswall-attached Sandeep Grewal won the Liverpool Alliance at Warrington with 38 points as Sean Bailey (Drivetime) and Kevin Jones (Northop) took the pro-am prize with 39.

And 41 points were enough for Mark Ellison (Kirkby ) John Thomas (Eaton ) in the am-am.
