Archer on target but Kris and Paul claim trophy

PHIL Archer hit the bullseye twice during the Manchester Alliance Leo Feeney Trophy at Hazel Grove.The former European Tour player from Birchwood was top professional with 39 points and then amassed 44 to claim the pro-am honours with Warrington’s Anton Johnson.It left them one clear of Ashton-on-Mersey’s Kris Andrews and Paul Brough who won the Leo Feeney Trophy as the best pair from the same club. But they had to rely of a card play-off with Bramall Park’s Liam Burgess and his Tytherington partner Chris Johnson.
