Home comforts as Ann sweeps board

RochROCHDALE homed in on the MDLGA Challenge Cup and Lloyd Jones Trophy, their players cashing in on local knowledge as they dominated the leader board.And it was a day to remember for the club’s 15-handicapper Ann Wild as she picked up the two main trophies, nett and gross, with a 63 off her 15 handicap. Also in the prizes were Tracey Tunnicliffe, who posted 71, and Barbara Nicholls who won on countback with a 72 from Ellesmere’s  Louise Apsden. Ann Wild (left) receives both trophies from MDLGA president Chris Kelly, from Bramhall.
