It’s Oscar at the double


DELAMERE Forest players called the shots in the Cheshire Junior Boys’ Championship for the u16 and u14 titles at Chorlton as four handicapped Oscar Doran carded a 67 to win both trophies.His nearest challengers in the u16 section were his brother, Tom, and Archie Palmer from Bramhall who had 74s.

In the u14 section the runner-up was Prestbury’s Remy Miller with 77, one less than Styal’s Jack Muir. And best nett prize went to 11-handicapper Delamere player Charlie Ball who denied Doran on  countback.
