It turns out all White again for Gemma!

ENGLAND international and Cheshire player Gemma Clews, who won the world ranking Comboy Scratch Trophy at Delamere Forest earlier in the week, added the White Cup to her  impressive list of achievements when she joined forces with Ashton-on-Mersey professional and clubmate Kris Andrews to clock up 42 points at Chorlton-cum-Hardy.

It was a repeat of her success in the same event three years ago when she partnered the then assistant professional Rory Walsh.alliwhitecupproam.JPG

But the outcome was only decided on this occasion after they prevailed on a card play-off from host club pro Dave Mackinnon and Carol Dunki-Jacobs.

The am-am was won by Swinton Park’s Marcus Corfield and Barbara Redford on a 41 points countback from home players Chris and Gail Hegarty and Stand duo Charles Rodgers and Mel Clegg.
