CAMERON Massey won his first Galvin Green Northern Order of Merit event when he led the way in the Caldy Quart with rounds of 73 and 67 for an eight-under-par total.
The Northenden scratch player prevailed by two strokes from former Lancashire County champion Ian Kenwright, from Haydock Park.
And victory hoisted him the top of the rankings 40 points ahead of previous leader, the host club’s Steven Capper.
