Calum calls the shots in Hulbert Trophy

SHIPLEY two handicapper Calum Hey posted a three-under-par aggregate of 139 to win the Hulbert Trophy at Manchester.

Rounds of 70 and 69 put him three ahead of Bury’s ever-consistent Ciaran Doherty, who signed for 70 and 72 as he moved into a share of third place in the Galvin Green Northern Order of Merit alongside Heswall’s Tom Dolan.

Top of the pile is Northenden’s Cameron Massey whose lead was cut to 110 points by Huyton & Prescot’s John Carroll, winner of the Hulbert Trophy two years ago.
