Manchester Alliance swings back into action

THE Manchester and District Alliance, with new captain John Davies at the helm, swung back into action at Marple with Chilli Dip Academy’s Craig Corrigan and Vale Royal Abbey’s Paul Grannell sharing top spot with 37 points to stake an early claim in the professional Order of Merit race.

Ollie Pantoja (Ashton-on-Mersey) topped the pro-am with clubmate Steve McDermott helping to amass 44 points, one more than Corrigan and Paul Cooney (Wigan) and Grannell and Sid Hodkinson (Marple).

 

Marcus Corfield (Swinton Park) and Dave Smith (Ellesmere) led the am-am with 43 points from Vinny Doyle and Peter Dean (Leigh) and Mike Lynch (Chorlton )41 and Pete Hamlett (Ashton-on-Mersey) 39.
